Our Story

For over 25 years Design 89 has been operating in the large-sale distribution. It has been founded by Giorgio De Zolt and his wife Simona Noseda.

Since the beginning of the 90s, Giorgio has been involved in shopfitting and then he has been specialized in creating a production process of display solutions for shops and supermarkets to a national and international scale, from the design to implementation.

Extreme production flexibility, also geared towards small quantities and craftsmanship quality of the products offered on the market have always been the strength of Design 89.

In the 2015, after gathering some professional experiences, Fabrizio De Zolt, the son of the founders, has joined the company to continue the work started by his father, taking care of safety, of the operational management and development of new communication channels.

From now on it was born also the collaboration with Provost group (1st French producer of shelving with more than 80,000 customers) which allowed the birth of Design 89 | Provost Italia, thereby to offer the customers a full product package, with many items available for immediate delivery in various French or Italian warehouses.

Design 89 also boasts another important partnership with the American company Boston Group, with which has developed numerous electrified items, for the lighting of the shelves and for display of lighting products in specialist shops or in the light departments of home improvement and DIY stores.
